Our Mission
The Orange County Chinese American Chamber of Commerce Foundation (OCCACCF) is the community charitable part of Orange County Chinese American Chamber of Commerce (OCCACC). The Primary objective of OCCACCF is to help promising youth by providing financial assistance and scholarship to those who meet the requirements imposed by our Foundation. Our scholarships are intended for students who are pursuing advanced studies in a university or college within the United States of America. OCCACCF is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is organized under the charitable purpose of 501(c)(3)of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
Our History
Started and awarded $500/student scholarship
OCCACC Scholarship Foundation licensed with State of California
OCCACC Scholarship Foundation obtained 501(c)(3) status
Increased award to $1,000/student scholarship
Awarded $1,000/student for academic honor (獎學金), and $3,000/student for financial need (獎助金)
Awarded 20 students of $3,000/each scholarship
Selected 10 students from the above 20 students to give extra $2,000/each
Officially started the program of selecting 10 students per year and award
$5,000/student for four years scholarship
Amended and registered our name to read OCCACC Foundation (OCCACCF) with the State of California
Established six committees to conduct different functions of OCCACCF
Officially name the scholarship recipients OCCACC Scholars.
Continue to award $5,000 per Scholar per year for four years scholarship program
